Hearthstone Village is a non-profit, non-denominational, all-women’s organization dedicated to the education of young women in Haiti. They had an outdated logo and a website that was difficult to navigate with low-quality images. I redesigned their logo and revamped their website for a clean, modern look to make it easier for users to donate and find volunteer information.
Due to its volunteerism and organic outgrowth through the years, Hearthstone did not have a well-documented company overview, history, or image. I created and compiled a searchable archive with the following:
– Interview transcripts of all current and former Board members
– Updated Board member biographies for the website
– An abridged company history and financial overview for volunteer on-boarding
I also identified major company values to guide future communications projects.
