Utterly simple. Utterly beautiful. Ossón Hotel.
The founders and owners of the Ossón Hotel needed a new identity to jump-start the luxury experience of their Portuguese brand. The hotel’s identity revolves around its location in the Algarve of southern, sunny Portugal.
The name “Ossón” is deeply significant to the hotel’s location in Faro, Portugal, as it derives from the city’s former name, Ossonoba, which dates back over two millennia. The hotel pays homage to the rich history and cultural heritage of the city, serving as a reminder of its ancient origins. The brand’s new tagline, “The adventurer’s hotel,” comes directly from this history. Henry the Navigator made the Algarve his base for explorations, and Ossón Hotel prides itself on providing an authentic experience for guests who come to experience the true Portugal.
The flamingo, the main icon of the new brand identity, comes from their prevalence on the Portuguese coast. Nature lovers of all kinds can find them on the Ludo trail in Faro. They can also be found in Ria Formosa Natural Park. The flamingoes make Portugal their home from November through March.
The primary values of sustainability, intimacy, and attention to detail are threaded throughout the new design elements.
Romantic retreat seekers and nature lovers alike: Welcome to Adventure.
